Our Beginnings…
The owners of Double Springs had a vision to share what they knew their whole lives about living in the mountains of Western North Carolina. The connection to the mountains can only be experienced when you live there. The changes of the seasons from the warm summers with cool mountain evenings to the fall colors of various hardwoods, and the occasional cold that can bring snow. The joy of walking in the woods and experiencing wildlife and the various botanical plants that can only be found when taking that step off the beaten path.
They wanted to make that available to others and started Double Springs Development. Much care was taken when excavating, and road building started. When you visit, you will quickly notice that quality and the preservation of your investment’s value were top priorities.
